It is generally thought that the job of an airhostess is very glamorous and exciting, as it includes flying and travelling. However, becoming one means you need to be in the air and on your toes all the time. Broadly, jobs in this industry can be categorised into two groups: ground personnel and flight personnel. Aircraft maintenance engineering is still a low profile career, as flying is normally associated with being a pilot or an airhostess. The engineers ensure the smooth running of the aircraft.
